What Do We Believe?

The Holy Trinity
How can we begin to share our Christian beliefs without first acknowledging The Trinity. Room at the Table fully aligns with the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. There is one God. We know God for who He truly is; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Three persons, one divine essence.

Who is Jesus?
Jesus is God. Our uncreated second person of the Trinity. Jesus is the only begotten son of the Father (John 1:14). “Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made” John 1:3. Jesus died on a cross for our sins and rose again, three days later (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Jesus Christ has brought reconciliation between us and our Father in heaven (Romans 5:10-11) to which we here at Room at the Table are eternally grateful for. Our King, our Savior Jesus Christ.

Marriage
Room of the Table holds to a traditional Christian view of marriage. Jesus teaches us in the Bible that marriage was made to be between one man and one woman to join together as one for the span of a lifetime (Matthew 19:3-6). We believe that sex and marriage outside of this biblical definition is outside of Gods will and plan for humanity.
